How does opening the chests work?

which keys are the best to use in what areas?

Where are some of the chests?

You use keys that you buy from Merchants for that area.

Shiver Peaks and Miners are good for the Sorrow Furnace area and inside the Furnace.

The Chests spawn in relatively random places.

it asks if you want to use a xxx key to open the dhest

each area has its own key (Ascalon key, Kryta key etc)

they move around randomly

they are for different areas. they are not the same, as different areas drop different quality items i think...(not tested, but presumed)
For instance: one has a better chance of quality max damage item in Sorrow's Furnace then in Kryta. Therefor, prices differ.
